Get acquainted with kenaf, our hemp shoe lining.

Kenaf shoe linings are naturally antibacterial.

The kenaf (hemp) liner is spun and woven with techniques that create a fabric of special softness, equivalent to premium linen. Kenaf grows quickly, is ready for harvest in 4 – 6 months, and it is produced in the same area as our factories. Finally, the fabric is dyed, the raw materials for the natural dyes are harvested locally from forests close to the dye house.

Antibacterial.

The kenaf lining is naturally antibacterial and does not aid in the growth or support of bacteria, fungi or viruses. These properties help reduce odor and provide good resistance to mildew and rot which is essential for humid climates.

Soft & comfortable.

The kenaf is spun and woven with techniques that create a fabric of special softness. With its double weave, mesh-like structure similar to that commonly used in performance footwear, the Ghost’s lining is soft and subtle against the foot with the added benefit of being good for the environment.
